Youth work

Youth work in a healthcare setting focuses on how to support the emotional, social and educational development of young people as well as empower and enable young people to gain confidence in communicating their needs and managing their health conditions more independently.

The youth service also supports young people through experiencing medical treatments, procedures and moving on to adult health services.
