Ward E17

Ward E17 is the kidney ward at Nottingham Children's Hospital.

The Ward E17 staff will welcome you and your child when you are admitted.

Bringing your child to hospital can be a stressful event, and for parents too!

We are not limiting visiting anymore and have recently removed restrictions that were in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One parent is permitted to be resident overnight and during the daytime it is open visiting for parents and siblings, between 8am-8pm.

Daily routine

Your child will have a named nurse each shift and they will provide the care your child needs.

Some children and young people need to be in hospital for a while.
