Ward E17 is the kidney ward at Nottingham Children's Hospital.

It has 10 beds made up of 4 side rooms with en-suite facilities, a 4-bedded bay (Safari) and a 2-bedded bay (Space).

If your child has a kidney or bladder problem and needs admission, ward E17 is normally where he or she will be admitted.  As well as admitting children with kidney and bladder problems, we are part of Nottingham Children's Hospital and we do admit children with other conditions when beds are needed.

There is a team of specialised ward nurses led by ward manager Shelley Austin.  The ward team also includes other people such as play specialists, domestics, pharmacists, receptionists and doctors.
