Meet the Nottingham team

Transplant coordinators help prepare kidney patients for a transplant. 

The transplant coordinator team is shared between paediatric and adult patients and is based at Nottingham City Hospital.

For those planning a living donor transplant, they help prepare the donor and coordinate timing of the operation. 

For those going onto the waiting list for a deceased donor transplant, they help transfer the patient information to the national database.  They also coordinate the offers that are received.  

Anne Theakstone, Karen Stopper and Amy Bostock

are the living donor co-ordinators who assess potential donors.

is the deceased donor coordinator.

joined the team in a new role as a paediatric living donor coordinator in 2022.
